2nd Annual David Jimenez Open Golf Tournament
Come join us on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Lost Plantation Golf Club for a fun day of golf and help us spread awareness and give support to the Coastal Georgia Alzheimer's Association in their mission to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
The tournament format will be a four person scramble-Captain's Choice with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $60.00 per player which includes: Green & Cart Fees; lunch; two Mulligans; Hole-in-One Contest; prizes for the winning teams; lunch. For the non-golfer lunch is $7.00. We are selling Hole Sponsorships: Individual or Group- $50 and Corporate- $100. There will also be a fantastic Silent Auction!
David Jimenez, 73, is a Rincon resident now living at Savannah Commons Arbor's Memory Care. He has been an Alzheimer's patient for the past 12 years. David is a PGA Life Member in the Georgia Section. His professional golf career included being a PGA Tour player in the 1960's and early 70's; 1975 MAPGA Player of the Year; 1976 PGA Cup Match USA Team Member; five time World Cup player partnered with Chi Chi Rodriguez three times; Head Pro at Wintergreen Resort, VA for 17 years and a Senior European Tour exempt player for seven years.
